Be the first player to get rid of all your cards by bluffing your way to victory.
Shuffle and deal out cards (1–13) face down evenly among all players.
The person to the left of the dealer begins the game by placing one to four of their cards face down in the middle of the table and announcing the quantity and value of their discard, for example: “TWO ONES.”
The starting player always begins at 1, whether they actually have any 1s or not.
Turns proceed clockwise, and each player calls out the quantity and value of their discard as the next highest card in ranking order, for example: “One TWO.”
If a player does not have any of the next highest card to throw, they must bluff by discarding an alternative card or cards, still claiming it as the next highest number.
Turns continue with players following the order 1–13, looping back to 1 after 13 if needed.
If a player believes another player is bluffing, they must call “HOGWASH!”
The cards from the last player are flipped over to see if they match the claim.
If the cards DO match what the player claimed, the player who called HOGWASH must take the entire stack of played cards into their hand.
If the cards DO NOT match what the player claimed, the player who discarded must take the entire stack of played cards into their hand.
The first player to get rid of all their cards is the winner.
