To me, this is exactly what a special edition/art deck should be. I can't enough nice things about this deck. It has unique art on every card and has the beautiful world locations organized by construction era, to logically separate things like the Burj Khalifa from Easter Island. All artwork was crafted to be appropriate to the image size on the cards-none of it looks barren but isn't mired in fussy details. Of course, Bicycle's cards are their usual pleasing feel and smell every time I flip though this brief architectural lesson. The backs and box design are classy and appropriate, bringing the whole thing together. Not every art deck wows me, if I see familiar pups and courts it seems lazy, but this deck shows everyone how it should be done. It's a beautiful, unique deck that didn't have to resort to IP licensing to make its appeal strong. If I ever do get any custom decks going, it'll be because this one seeded the idea for me.
